32 alpine pastures and snack stations as well as 12 mountain huts provide fresh energy in Sölden's extensive network of hiking trails. On their sunny terraces, traditional dishes such as bacon dumplings, cheese spatzln and Kaiserschmarren taste even better when you consider the altitude you have climbed.
The Brunnenkogel is the best mountain to look out for. The most powerful representatives of our alpine majesties are lined up nearby.
Rustic alpine farm with Tyrolean delicacies. It tastes good, is filling and you can't get enough of it. What is prepared in the alpine hut has been feeding mountain dwellers for hundreds of years. Kassspatzlan, Tyrolean Gröstl or bacon dumplings. When the hot cast-iron pan is placed in front of you, you know it's going to taste good. When preparing the food and drinks at the Gampe Thaya, care is taken to use products from the region and from the farm itself.
WE ARE PART OF THE ALMZEIT THE THEMED HIKING TRAIL FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY
Water time on our Hühnersteign is a real treat: while the parents enjoy Tyrolean specialties or tread water during Kneipp therapy, the children spray fountains into the air with really large water pistols operated by hand pumps. It also gets exciting when there is a shooting competition at the huge target. Who is better, dad or boy, mom or girl? There is no shortage of enjoyment, activity, fun and games here. Experience it for yourself!
We put a lot of love and energy into renovating the Rettenbachalm (and we're still doing it) - we've been able to host guests since mid-August and are grateful for the great feedback we've already received. Our guests appreciate the wonderfully relaxing atmosphere of the new terrace and our great range of organic and high-quality drinks and food. From our own house lemonades to the daily changing delicacies from the kitchen, which we all prepare ourselves, everyone is enthusiastic. We use high-quality, regional organic products.
